A Rustic Outdoor Wedding at Shell B Acres in Helena, Alabama

Stephanie Ellis (30 and works in commercial insurance) and Jordan Dean (31 and a business owner) met at their church's Sunday school in Hoover, AL. While things got off to a slow start, with lots of friendly Facebook messages before their first date, the two quickly realized they had something special and became inseparable. Jordan popped the question on the evening of their third anniversary, taking Stephanie totally by surprise. When it came time to plan their wedding, the couple headed to Shell B Acres in Helena, AL. The outdoor venue offered a stunning natural backdrop for the rustic affair with acres of lush trees, a quaint pond, tranquil pastures and historic barn. To highlight the natural setting, while celebrating the vibrancy of the summer season, the Stephanie and Jordan chose a color palette of bright green, pink and white. The ceremony took place outdoors overlooking the surrounding green pastures and acres of majestic trees. Traditional country touches like burlap ribbons, chalkboard signs and mason jars were used to give the decor an air of rustic charm.
