A Rustic Outdoor Wedding at Camp Sacajewea in Farmingdale, New Jersey

Carolyn Bauer (29 and works in marketing) and Bryan Goletz (30 and also works in marketing) wanted their wedding to be one big party with all their closest family and friends. The day absolutely had to include the couple's two favorite things: camping and craft breweries. Carolyn and Bryan used their relationship as the inspiration behind the theme of the wedding, from Willie Nelson songs playing during trips up and down the aisle, to the beer-garden-inspired pretzel and cheese baskets at every table. Bryan's mother surprised the couple with a bagpiper at cocktail hour to honor his family’s Scottish heritage. Since the brew-loving pair married at a Girl Scout camp, they decided to do a beer-and-Girl-Scout-cookie pairing during their cocktail hour. The couple picked out specific beers for three different cookies, and these were passed around to guests as a way of sharing some of Carolyn and Bryan’s favorite sips. Carolyn and Bryan chose “Love You Till the Cows Come Home” by Billy Joe Shaver as their first dance song. “We knew it would be uncharacteristic of us to have a slow song, so this was a perfect way to set the tone of the wedding so that all of our guests could get ready for a fun night of dancing,” the bride says.
