A Rustic Outdoor Barn and Beach Wedding at Jefferson Patterson Park in Solomons Island, Maryland

Sarah Kirby (33, EVM Specialist at NASA) and Brett Smith (35, Emergency Manager, NASA) were acquaintances from college until Brett moved back to Baltimore and the two reconnected. Through Brett’s persistence, they started dating, and two and a half years later, he proposed with a flower-topped platter printed with a photo of the couple and the words “Will You Marry Me?” Inspired by their Maryland upbringings, the couple’s dream wedding was a rustic outdoor setting near the water in Jefferson Patterson Park.
