A Rustic Old Florida Style Wedding at Phillippi Estate Park in Sarasota, Florida

Inspired by the soft shades of the sunrise and Old Florida style, Jennifer Buck (28 and an occupational therapist) and Alan Gunn (26 and a special education teacher aide) fused cascading florals with copper and rose gold accents.

“I knew I wanted an intimate outdoor wedding under a canopy of trees and lights,” Jennifer says of dressing the scenic ceremony space with magnolia wreaths, garlands and amber bottles full of greenery. The bridal party mixed and matched neutrals and soft pink, and the gents all sported Chuck Taylor All-Stars with their herringbone linen blazers.

In addition to Moscow Mules and whiskey sours, guests enjoyed warm biscuits with jam and locally sourced honey during the couple’s cocktail hour. Other sweets included a Nutella-flavored buttercream cake, blueberry goat cheese pie and a bourbon pecan fudge dessert. “The pies were a huge hit,” Jennifer says.
