A Rustic, Natural Wedding at C Lazy U Ranch in Granby, Colorado

Brooke Carnie has called C Lazy U Ranch home for 20 years, so it seemed like the ideal location for her wedding to Nick Sikonski. The ceremony took place in a grassy field overlooking mountains and trees. Natural arrangements lining the aisle were full of white flowers and greenery, and they perfectly matched Brooke's simple bouquet and Nick's boutonniere with a leather tie. A cocktail hour, complete with oyster shuckers, took place in the wide-open horse pasture. Then, guests found their seat assignments with horseshoe escort cards for the a clear-top tent reception. "The décor was mix of rustic and classic with horseshoes and gold flatware, wood tables and metal chairs, moss and glass," Brooke says. "The elegant, beautiful dinner tent and the rustic barn party were just what we wanted." The long head table was topped with tall centerpieces, and teal linens complemented the natural greenery of the space. Brooke and Nick maintained the day's casual vibe with their outfit choices—she wore a flowing white dress with cowboy boots, and he donned a linen jacket with blue jeans.
Our favorite #MakeTradition moment: "My parents divorced a long time ago and both remarried when I was really young," Brooke says. "My step-father, Don, lead me to the ceremony on horseback, where my dad met us at the top of the aisle. It was so special!"
