A Rustic Mountain Wedding at Restaurant 415 in Fort Collins, Colorado

Brianna Olander (26 and an occupational therapist) and Tre Scott (26 and a construction project manager) met through mutual friends at church. “I convinced Brianna it would be a good idea to climb the flatirons in Boulder, Colorado, with the first winter storm rolling in,” Tre says. “For some reason, she believed me and immediately regretted it. Once reaching the top and waiting to get the place to ourselves I got down on one knee and forgot everything I was planning to say. I think the message got across because all of the sudden she was nodding yes and I was jamming the ring that didn't quite fit on her finger.” They knew they wanted to get married outside as their number one priority. They exchanged vows on their family friend’s ranch in Collins, Colorado, the day after Tre’s birthday. Loving the mountain backdrop, they only decorated with an aspen tree and greenery wedding arch. Everyone wore cowboy boots for a little rustic country flair. Tre and Brianna’s mother created a feather and elk hair boutonniere to look like a fishing fly because of Tre’s love for hunting and fishing. Afterwards, they headed to Restaurant 415, which is owned by Brianna’s brother, for their reception. They served pizza for cocktail hour and chicken, steak as well as some vegetarian dishes for dinner. They had cupcakes and chocolate pudding for guests and a small one-tier cake for themselves. Instead of traditional favors, they donated to a local nonprofit to spread the love even further.
