A Rustic-Meets-Playful Wedding at The Ruins at Kellum Valley Farm in Cleveland, Georgia
Sarah Bumpas (26 and a pediatric nurse) and Jason Tyler (30 and a machinist) can thank their parent's for the major milestones in their relationship: Jason's father set them up and Sarah's mother offered Jason a family heirloom engagement ring after they'd been dating for three years. Jason took the hint and proposed in the park while they were walking their dog. This fun-loving couple planned a relaxed wedding at The Ruins at Kellum Valley Farm in Cleveland, Georgia with non-traditional dinosaur accents. "Kellum Valley was perfect for the rustic look we were going for," says Sarah. "In all my searches, I had never seen a venue that had ruins as an option for either the ceremony or reception!" The couple worked with a cheery coral and navy color palette with accents of mint green and gray as well as soft Juliet garden rose and baby's breath arrangements. The informal tablescapes included burlap runners, chalkboard table numbers, clusters of baby's breath and dinosaur figurines. From the dinosaur escort cards to a zombie-inspired groom’s cake, Sarah and Jason incorporated their playful personalities throughout their casual day.
