A Rustic, Flower-Filled Wedding at Greengate Ranch & Vineyard in San Luis Obispo County, California

Courtney and Jeffrey Shifflett’s wedding revolved around their favorite thing: the outdoors. “We are big into hunting, fishing, hiking and camping, and wanted to bring those important elements into our day,” Courtney says. “The theme was elegant outdoorsman with a feminine twist.” The décor combined natural touches with pops of bright pink, coral and orange—especially in the flower arrangements of poppies, ranunculus and peonies. “We had flowers in pretty much everything, like the tables, bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony arch and chandelier in the barn. I just wanted overflowing flowers,” Courtney says. Personal touches included Courtney’s blue cowboy boots, acrylic seating charts and pheasant feathers on the dinner menus.
