A Rustic Florida Woods Inspired Wedding at Southern Waters in Fort Myers, Florida

Hollie Tiner (25, a captain) and Steven Agapi (23, a environmental engineer) have an unique and adventurous story to how they met. They met while alligator hunting. Hollie and her twin sister, and two friends were going to borrow a boat that her co-worker and his brother-in-law owned to go alligator hunting for the weekend. One friend unexpectedly decided not to come so they convinced the co-worker’s brother-in-law, Steven, to come with them. “Before I knew it we were on our way to the lake with only a load of gear separating me from a handsome stranger,” says Hollie. The two spent their night talking on the boat. Hollie and Steven became quick friends and eventually started to date. “We spent the next year and half on many adventures from hiking, scuba diving for lobsters, kayaking & fishing,” says Hollie. “We both have a huge love for nature and the water and as our adventures grew, so did our love for each other.” Steven proposed in 2013 while the two were on the beach looking for sharks’ teeth. “He was behind me and said " Hey look at this one!," says Hollie. “When I turned around, he was on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand.” They were wed six months later.
