A Rustic Farm Wedding at Lange Farm in Dade City, Florida

A little blue barn at Lange Farm set the theme for Alison Ebert (26 and a teacher) and Zach Link’s (27 and a probation officer) country wedding in Dade City, Florida. “We wanted a rustic country farm wedding with dark purple and yellow sunflowers,” Alison says, “and we tried to use this theme throughout all aspects of our wedding.” From a flower-adorned cake to cheery, yellow sunflowers in her hair and homemade centerpieces, Alison found creative ways to give even the smallest touches a bit of the theme she created for the big day. Friends and family lent a helping hand with DIY projects that ranged from card boxes to the bouquets and boutonnieres. Under Spanish-moss-adorned trees, Alison and Zach promised their love for each other. Afterward, guests played country-themed games, danced and sipped libations at a DIY bar, all while wishing the new couple a beautiful life together. “It goes by way too fast,” Alison says, advising those with a wedding on the way to “take a step back, and appreciate everything that is going on around you.” —Ginger Harris
