A Rustic Fall Wedding at the Bear Mill Estate in Denver, Pennsylvania

For their fall wedding, Morgan Phillips (29 and a senior financial analyst) and Jaron Nalewak (31 and an attorney and small business owner) wanted cozy, bohemian vibes. The pair paid homage to the season with an autumnal color palette of burnt orange, hunter green, navy blue and deep red. Luckily, “The venue has so much charm and character that we didn’t have to do much at all,” Morgan says. The couple played up the estate’s existing décor with wood accents, verdant garland centerpieces and gold-rimmed dinnerware. As she walked down the aisle, Morgan clutched a colorful arrangement of seeded eucalyptus, hypericum berries, magnolia, garnet king mums, cabbage and kangaroo paw. After tying the knot at the open-air ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests settled in for a family-style Italian feast. Instead of seating their wedding party at a head table, Morgan and Jaron opted to sit alone during dinner. “A separate table for just Morgan and I seemed like the right decision,” Jaron says. “Sitting alone allowed us to sit back and watch all of our planning come to fruition—we were overcome with happiness and love.”
