A Rustic Fall Wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge in British Columbia, Canada

The stunning scenery took center stage at Christina Parsons and Adam Galvine's rustic fall wedding. Their venue, Emerald Lake Lodge in British Columbia, Canada, overlooked towering trees and picturesque mountains. Rustic touches and a color palette of navy, burgundy and gold accented the natural surroundings. The ceremony took place overlooking a lake—and the fearless couple braved a canoe ride on the same lake to capture enviable pictures. Christina wore a vintage-inspired gown with an A-line tulle skirt and lace trim, which she paired with a rustic bouquet that included roses, berries, kale and pomegranate fruit. Adam donned a navy suit to match the color scheme. "Our reception venue was a 100-year-old lodge, so we really didn't need much décor at all," Christina says. "I rented vintage chairs and our sweetheart table, as well as gold candlestick holders." The place settings included calligraphed place cards and pieces of pomegranate. The night ended with a semi-naked wedding cake and cupcakes displayed on wood cake stands.
Our Favorite #MakeTradition Moment: "I wrapped a charm around the bouquet with a picture of my late mother to have her close to me that day," Christina says.
