A Rustic Fall Barn Wedding at Belle Terrace in Avon, Connecticut

Wendy Bernardino (32 and an insurance agent) and Nuno Bernardino (32 and in talent development) met during their sophomore year in high school in Mrs. Fusco’s geometry class. “We lost touch after graduation, but 12 years later Nuno was having his annual New Years bash and my sister saw the invite on Facebook,” Wendy says, “We’ve been together ever since!” In May of 2012, the pair took a vacation to Santa Ynez just outside of Santa Barbara in California to see Wendy’s mother and enjoy the beautiful vineyard scenery. “He proposed at Bridlewood Vineyards after our tasting on a patio, overlooking grapevines and horse stables. It was the most romantic moment.”The pair began planning their Belle Terrace at Avon Old Farms wedding in Avon, Connecticut shortly after Nuno’s romantic proposal, evoking the same rustic, vineyard feel throughout their elegant day.
