A Rustic Elegant Wedding at Tre Bella in Mesa, Arizona

Gloria Pierce-Garcia (left, 31 and a nurse) and Jill Pierce-Garcia’s (39 and a teacher) wedding cake topper says it all: “Today I marry my best friend.” The couple exchanged their vows at Tre Bella, a rustic, elegant venue in Mesa, Arizona. “The owner, Kim, and and all her staff were so open and welcoming to us. And the fact that they were an all-inclusive venue was very appealing. It was the first and only venue we looked at,” Jill says. She and Gloria chose not to see each others outfits before their wedding day, but they matched each other perfectly. Jill wore a simple ivory tailored suit and Gloria wore a strapless, mermaid-style wedding dress with a corset back. To complete their styles, both brides wore gray Converse sneakers with rainbow laces. Since Jill and Gloria are both from Arizona, they included succulents in their floral arrangements, from Gloria’s bouquet to the boutonnieres. “We thought it was a special touch,” Jill says. “And it looked cool.” Instead of a traditional bouquet toss, the couple created a meaningful moment when Gloria presented her bouquet to Jill’s mother. “We dedicated ‘Remember When’ by Alan Jackson to my parents, who celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary the weekend before,” Jill says. When planning a wedding, the brides offer their own advice: “Do what feels right for you and your needs. Remember, you are in this together. Take time to relax, and enjoy every moment. It will be the best day of your life.” See the sweet wedding details, captured by Blue Hills Photo, below.
