A Rustic, Elegant Vineyard Wedding Mount Palomar Winery in Temecula, California

Tim Johnson (35 and a director of consumer lending) and Jonah Merchant (33 and a registered nurse) met through an online dating app and have their first date at a downtown restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, where they exchanged a kiss by the end of the night. The couple planned a trip to Paris together, where the both of them planned on surprising the other with a proposal and a Tiffany’s & Co. engagement ring (completely by coincidence!) Tim and Jonah were waiting on a bench for the Eiffel Tower to light up at night. As it did, Jonah beat Tim to the punch and got down on one knee to propose. “In his hand was a Tiffany’s box with an engagement ring. Of course I said yes,” says Tim. “Afterwards, I began laughing and Jonah asked what was so funny. That is when I pulled out the Tiffany ring I got him. We both had it planned for the same time and knew Tiffany rings was the way to go.” The couple had their wedding at Mount Palomar Winery in Temecula, California, an area in Southern California Wine County they had previously traveled to and fallen in love with. Both grooms wore light gray fitted suits with purple accents for their formal, elegant wedding that had subtle Paris detail. A variety of flowers were seen incorporated into the wedding attire and décor, ranging from white calla lilies to ruby orchids and button mums. Centerpieces of branches accented with flowers and large vases with orchids in water topped with kissing balls were displayed on dining tables.
