As all of the DIY elements came together, a playful carnival theme emerged.

Karli’s bridesmaids wore boatneck dresses for a Mad Men–inspired look.
Karli used a felt flower-making kit to stitch each bloom and decorated the centers with brooches that had belonged to her grandmother.
The couple exchanged vows in front of a stone fireplace, which they decorated with white lights and pinwheels.
Karli paired her tea-length dress with bright-teal heels.
A single felt boutonniere matched James’s dotted tie.
Karli and James cut into a two-tiered cake with multicolored fondant flowers and a wax figure bride and groom topper.
