A Rustic DIY Wedding at White Barn in Prospect, Pennsylvania
Amanda Titus (25 and a sales rep) and Seth Titus (26 and a coal miner) found their dream rustic wedding venue at White Barn in Prospect, Pennsylvania. "The barn was rustic and elegant at the same time," Amanda says. "It was so beautiful, it barely needed decorating." Outside, the property was equally gorgeous. Amanda and Seth were married in a heartwarming ceremony by the pond. The ceremony aisle was lined with wooden posts featuring mason jars with baby's breath. The couple said their vows under a large wedding arch that was decorated with burlap and greenery. Inside the barn, Amanda and Seth added their own DIY touches to personalize the space for their wedding celebration. String lights were hung from the ceiling and wrapped around the wooden beams for an enchanting effect. The couple covered the dining tables with burlap runners and tied the chiavari chairs with burlap and lace bows. Tablescapes were topped by wooden slabs showcasing arrangements of wildflowers. As wedding favors, Amanda and Seth gave their guests homemade jam and apple pie moonshine, and for dessert, they served an assortment of cupcakes displayed on wooden slab stand.
