A Rustic, DIY Wedding at Ram Island Farm in Cape Elizabeth, Maine
Regina Verret (29, an account trainer for Practical Law at Thomson Reuters) and Robert Foster (28, an associate editor for Practical Law at Thomson Reuters) met in Washington DC during their first year of graduate school when Rob's roommate invited Regina to a party at their house. "We've been inseparable ever since!" says Regina. They had been dating for nearly four years when he proposed by hiding the engagement ring in the glove compartment of their little Volkswagen bug. Rob, claiming to be lost, asked her to get the GPS out of the glove compartment when out popped the ring! "I was shocked when he pulled over and proposed!" says Regina. "It was one of the happiest moments of my life." For their understated, DIY wedding the Brooklyn-based couple got back on the road and headed to Rob's idyllic hometown on the coast of Maine. A cool color palette of lavender and gray along with rustic, unfussy floral arrangements brought their charming day to life.
