Brittany McClung, a pastry chef, 26, and Brandon Adams, a tattoo artist, 30, met when Brittany came into the tattoo shop where he worked. “The conversation was brief and when she left I thought I'd never see her again. Luckily, for me, that wasn't the case,” says Brandon. The couple planned their rustic style wedding in just six months. Burlap and lace were used as the main accents for the day and complemented with neutral tones. “What can I say other than thank God for Pinterest!” says Brandon. The inspiration board site was the couple’s main resource for constructing the accents for their special day. “With a lot of help from friends and family we were able to make all the decorations ourselves,” says Brandon. Their gazebo ceremony was decorated with simple white draped fabric tied along the sides. Brandon and Brittany’s reception used simple decor of white linens with burlap overlays to accentuate the natural setting. Centerpieces of burlap and lace wrapped mason jars were filled with white daisies and blush cymbidium orchids. The couple and their guests enjoyed a strolling reception as well as music from two local musicians. “We didn't put many restrictions on them and just said play a variety of feel good music,” says Brandon. “It was perfect.”
