A Rustic DIY Wedding at a Private Residence in Keene, New Hampshire

Lindsay (22, a Manager at Victoria's Secret) and Brandon (22, a Youth Ministry Intern) held their rustic inspired wedding on Brandon's family's property. "We chose the location because it was the start to a new beginning for our whole family. It was a new property, and a new house was to be built on it, so it just seemed fitting to have a new family begin on that property as well!" Lindsay says. After an intimate outdoor ceremony underneath an apple tree and with only immediate family and grandparents in attendance, the couple celebrated their reception with family and friends. Since Lindsay and Brandon opened up their reception to their entire church, friends and extended family, church community members pitched in and brought sides for the barbeque dinner. After enjoying barbeque burgers and chicken, and eating a delicious four layer chocolate, vanilla and red velvet cake, a family friend DJed the reception so that everyone could dance all night. "We really wanted our wedding to be a shared family and community effort. I wanted my family to help in all the decorating and our church community to play a role in our reception. Brandon and I cherish our friends and family and we wanted to make that day not just about us, but about all of those in our life, too!" Lindsay recalls.
