A Rustic DIY Mountain Wedding at The Hatchet Resort in Moran, Wyoming

Justin Smith (34 and a field specialist for tool hand) proposed to Elizabeth Smith (30 and a domestic engineer) while watching the fireworks in front of Cinderella's Castle on Valentines Day with a solitaire princess-cut diamond ring. For their wedding, they decided to keep it intimate with only 30 guests. Elizabeth and Justin exchanged vows in the Grand Teton Mountains above a river and across the plains. Since the setting was swoon-worthy, they kept the decor to a minimum. Elizabeth made all of the floral arrangements herself including the blush paper rose and feather bouquets with deer antler handles! Knowing she didn’t want to wear white, she chose a blush Vera Wang A-line dress with a ruffled skirt from David’s Bridal. She completed her look with a pair of turquoise cowboy boots for the outdoor wedding. The bridesmaids were a little more casual in ivory lace dresses and brown cowboy boots. Wanting to include the whole family into the unity ceremony tradition, Elizabeth, Justin and their three children poured colored sand together so everyone in the new family was represented. After the intimate ceremony, they went to The Hatchet Resort for a simple reception.
