A Rustic Destination Wedding at a Private Residence in Moose, Wyoming
rn When Kate Richards (29 and works in education) and Hunter Fleetwood (29 and works in medical sales) got engaged, they considered having their wedding in one of their hometowns: Atlanta or St. Simons Island, Georgia. But they really wanted to do something different and more intimate. Since Kate always dreamed of exchanging vows in Jackson Hole, they decided to elope. “We made the decision to have a small wedding that included only our immediate families, but then throw a party with all our friends when we returned,” Kate says. “We really wanted our families to be able to spend some quality time together.” Twenty of the couple’s closest friends and family members joined them at the Chapel of the Transfiguration in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, for a romantic ceremony. Kate and Hunter loved the log cabin feel of the little church and how the stunning mountain vistas were framed through the windows at the front. Inspired by the natural, rustic setting, they kept their decor to a minimum with a neutral palette and lots of wood, antlers and succulents throughout. There are so many details we love about this rustic wedding. See them all, beautifully captured by Hannah Hardaway Photography, below.
