A Rustic Country Wedding at the Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch in Dardanelle, Arkansas
Stacy Baldwin (26 and an OB/GYN) and Jason Pollack (26 and a sales manager) met through mutual friends. Jason proposed at the Kenda Drive-In movie theater in Marshall, Arkansas, where Stacy worked when she was younger. "Jason worked out a way to put a presentation up on the big screen before the movie started that night,” Stacy says. “It was rainy and cold, and I was complaining the whole time about watching a movie in such dreary weather. We walked out of the box office with our popcorn and drinks and that's when the presentation appeared on the big screen and Jason popped the question. The presentation said, ‘Three years together, many more to come? Stacy, will you marry me?’ I was overcome with happiness and felt terrible about complaining so much leading up to the proposal.” For the wedding, the couple chose the Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch because they loved the rustic outdoor setting for the ceremony and indoor options for the reception. Plus, they loved how great the staff was and how easy they made the whole day. They used shades of orange and purple for their rustic country wedding. For dinner they had Fat Daddy’s BBQ with sweet tea and beer. The Cake Place made the rustic three-tier burlap cake decorated with burlap twine, purple calla lilies and burlap fabric flowers. The groom’s cake was duck hunting themed to honor Jason’s favorite hobby.
