A Rustic Country Wedding at Sisterdale Dancehall in Sisterdale, Texas
This rustic, vintage wedding was full of Texas flair. “We love the Texas Hill Country and the idea of celebrating in a historic dance hall,” say Tiffany Cox (33 and an attorney) and Nat Stacy (37 and a mechanical engineer), which influenced their choice to host their wedding at the Sisterdale Dancehall in Sisterdale, Texas. “We really enjoy dancing to country music, and we felt that the atmosphere reflected our personalities,” the couple says. Texas wildflowers inspired the peach and mint color palette of the wedding, which sweetly accented the Western-style venue. Both bride and groom dressed for the occasion: Tiffany’s champagne wedding dress with sheer lace sleeves influenced the vintage theme and allowed her to dance, and Nat continued the country style with cowboy boots and a hat. One of the most special parts of the day was the wedding ceremony, which the couple personalized with their music choices and the Cherokee prayer they recited in closing. “We hope that this was special for the guests, as we wanted to include them in feeling what we felt for each other,” the bride says. At their reception, country music by the Mario Flores and the Soda Creek Band highlighted their tastes. “We had to have a great country band,” Tiffany says. “Everyone enjoyed the music very much.” The bride offers this tip for future couples: “Definitely hire a wedding planner!
