A little Texas flair and a lot of romance is exactly how Tylar Robbins (27 and a customer-service specialist) and Erick Robbins (28 and a field agent in the oil and gas industry) envisioned their summer wedding. Cedar Bend Events in Cedar Creek, Texas, had just the right country ambience, with its rustic wooden wedding arch nestled in a gorgeous green landscape and renovated red barn for the reception, not to mention string lights everywhere—Tylar’s top must-have. She incorporated antlers from her dad’s collection—another love of hers—throughout the decor, from the wedding arch to the centerpieces, along with light pink flowers and greenery from Cedar Bend Events. During the outdoor ceremony, Tylar and Erick’s guests stayed cool with pretty programs-turned-fans, created by the talented Frou Studio, which decorated the space with cool custom calligraphy quotes fit in with the vintage decor. To beat the heat during cocktail hour, guests filled mason jars with refreshing tea, lemonade, beer, frozen margaritas and Tylar’s favorite Texas wine, the “Rhinestone Cowgirl” from Fiesta Winery. They also had a truly Texas dinner—a chips and dip bar with fare from Dickey’s Barbecue Pit—followed by an acoustic country music first dance to Wade Bowen’s “Who I Am.” According to Tylar, “although it was a little toasty outside, our wedding turned out exactly how I imagined—even better.” Angela King Photography was on hand to capture all the sweet details of the day, below.

Custom calligraphy by Frou Studio added a whimsical touch to the decor around Tylar and Erick's vintage-inspired outdoor wedding at Cedar Bend Events in Cedar Creek, Texas.
Tylar's bouquet incorporated all her romantic wedding colors, from blush to ivory and mint. It had spray roses, astilbes and dahlias mixed with eucalyptus and dusty miller.
Tylar's bridesmaids looked elegant and romantic in long chiffon dresses in a soft mint hue. The whole bridal party wore rose quartz jewelry from Kendra Scott to tie their looks together.
Erick wore a khaki linen vest with an ivory tie. His boutonniere, a pair of mini ivory roses, had a hemp tie to complete his rustic, Texan style.
Ceremony programs doubled as fans so guests could cool off during Tylar and Erick's outdoor ceremony in the Texas heat. Frou Studio created pretty paper props, including the whimsical calligraphy monogram.
Tylar and Erick's wooden wedding arch, surrounded by trees and green grounds, helped set theme and ambience she envisioned for their outdoor wedding. String lights enhanced the soft, romantic ambience.

Tylar and Erick decorated the wooden wedding arch with antlers and blush flowers with hanging greenery to enhance the romantic vibe. Underneath, a vintage table with lanterns and an old windowpane created an air of vintage elegance.
"Erick is a Texas guy—he loves a good pair of starched jeans, so I knew a suit and tie would not fly for his attire," Tylar says. He wore jeans with a white shirt and light khaki linen vest to stay comfortable and cool, with a pair of cowboy boots—of course.
Outside the red barn, white dining tables with burlap runners and vintage decor embodied the rustic wedding theme. String lights all around created a magical glow.
"I'm obsessed with flowers, lanterns and deer antlers, so I knew they were going to be a part of our decor," Tylar says. The wooden slabs came from a tree that fell over at Tylar's grandparents' home, which they cut and stained.
Tylar and Erick's wooden chairs had rustic wooden signs with calligraphy.
Tylar and Erick had a rustic farm table with DIY wedding cakes and brownies, accented by antlers, succulents and flowers. Naked cakes were the perfect choice for their rustic wedding style. And who doesn't love brownies?
As DIY wedding favors, Tylar and Erick gave their guests jars of Tylar's grandmother’s homemade spicy pickles. We also loved the presentation: the "something pickled" sign is too cute!
