A Rustic Country Wedding at Carnton Plantation in Franklin, Tennessee

Tennessee’s Southern charm brought Brittany Zeiter (29 and a respiratory therapy consultant) and Adam Weeks (31 and an IT technician) all the way from Ohio to get married at Carnton Plantation in Franklin, Tennessee. They had a country-rustic theme filled with burlap and skeleton keys, including boutonnieres by Petal Pushers, which incorporated hydrangeas, peonies and succulents following a color scheme of blush, purple and green. The event planner at Carnton Plantation, Meagan, saw their vision through and helped them coordinate their destination wedding. Their personalized ceremony unfolded under a massive tree, which was extra special since their first visit there was the same vacation where they got engaged. After a unity ceremony, the reception moved into a tent behind the garden, where Brittany and Adam shared their first dance to "God Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton. DJ New Hope Entertainment kept the dance floor lively all night. A highlight? Brittany and Adam definitely went over-the-top with desserts: The Frosted Affair made a two-tier peanut butter buttercream wedding cake, along with a surprise giant orange cupcake for Adam. They also offered mini cupcakes and a s’mores bar. Tanya and Bobby Macks, from Frozen Exposure Photography and Cinematography, were the first people Brittany and Adam connected with for their special day. See the sweet moments they captured, below.
