rn High school sweethearts Elizabeth (Liz) Bender (28 and an accountant) and Grant Plost (28 and a dermatologist) used a contemporary rose gold palette for their traditional and sophisticated wedding. Though the couple did a first look, Liz still wanted to surprise Grant during the ceremony. She added a long veil outlined with lace for her walk down the aisle. A blend of roses, blushing protea and hydrangeas accented the chuppah for the interfaith ceremony. At the reception, the table linens had the same rose gold trellis pattern as the invitations. Music was an important part of the couple’s day: They hired a string quartet for the ceremony, an a cappella group to entertain guests during cocktails, a live band for the reception and a DJ for the clubhouse after-party. “We provided flip-flops for guests to ditch their heels and get down!” Liz says.
