A Rustic Chic Wedding at The Little Herb House in Raleigh, North Carolina
Ashley Enders (26, Textile Designer) and Curt Honeycutt (29, Farmer) started dating in June 2012. After two years of long distance dating, the two went for a walk on Curt's family farm, where he proposed to Ashley on bended knee. Over the course of their ten month engagement, Curt and Ashley planned an autumn wedding to be held in Raleigh, North Carolina. The couple's big day took place at The Little Herb House, an herb farm and barn venue in Raleigh. Ashley and Curt tied the knot under a tall wooden arch on the farm's expansive property. The arch, bursting with colorful homegrown wildflowers and greenery. The wildflower theme continued down the aisle arrangements, where tall clusters of bright blooms stood chair-high. Ashley and Curt chose their love of farm-life and growing flowers together to be the theme of their big day. Every element of the occasion had a special meaning, whether it be the homegrown florals, the handmade quilt guest book, or their flower-bulb favors, a way to keep the love 'growing' even after their big day. The bride handmade many of the elements included throughout the wedding including the lace-stamped reply cards, burlap table runners, hand-painted signs, and even the ceremony arch itself. Nicole Moering of Three Little Birds Studio LLC captured every memorable moment of Ashley and Curt's special celebration.
