Tyler Malone (25 and a bass pro shop member) proposed to Amanda Coleman (26 and a family nurse practitioner) in Kingsport, Tennessee after dating during their time at King College. Both having grown up around farms, they immediately decided on a relaxed-yet-elegant celebration at The Barn at Boone Falls in Johnson City, Tennessee. "The first thing we decided was to hold it outdoors on a summer evening since that's our favorite time of year," says Amanda. "A rustic barn theme was the perfect fit for our ceremony, which was held in a field by a creek, with the reception following in the big barn." Tyler ended up setting the khaki and navy color palette when he picked out his light suit only a week after getting engaged. The couple exchanged vows under a wooden arbor made by Tyler's dad before inviting guests to kick off their shoes and enjoy a Southern feast of barbecue, sweet tea and a pie bar. "We focused on the fun and what our guests would enjoy at our wedding, not formality or the little details," says Amanda."We made sure to enjoy our wedding by dancing and allowing plenty of time for us to interact with our guests."

Amanda's bridesmaids wore a simple A-line navy dress from ModCloth and carried white rose and hydrangea bouquets.
Tyler picked out his suit the week after their engagement and ended up setting the color palette for the entire event: khaki and navy. "He didn't want to wear a dark suit for an outdoors wedding so he chose a khaki suit with navy tie," says Amanda.

In memory of their deceased family members, Amanda and Tyler displayed their photos at the ceremony. "We had a beautiful ceremony that incorporated our love for
each other, family, and God—it was perfect!" says Amanda.
Tyler's father made the rustic door ceremony entrance and wooden arbor. "He used repurposed wood for everything and it was such a special addition to our wedding decor."
Amanda's elegant Alfred Angelo wedding dress had a taffeta skirt, chapel-length train and crystal beading embellishment.
"For the reception decor, we kept the centerpieces simple, using mason jars, candles and hydrangeas because wanted the beauty of the venue to remain the focal point," says Amanda.
