A Rustic, Bohemian Wedding at a Private Residence in Idaho Falls, Idaho

Daniel Brewer (31 and an artist) was bicycling from Denver to San Francisco when a couch surfing website led him to a friend of Sara Teeters (27 and a nurse) in Laramie, Wyoming. They were formally introduced at a local bar. "I was a bit starved for human interaction being on a solo bike trip for a while," Daniel says. "I was so happy to be yucking it up with all her friends." When Sara walked in, he was instantly smitten, and he even postponed his trip for an entire week to spend more time with her. Daniel and Sara had a destination wedding at a private residence in Idaho Falls, Idaho. "We both love the west and the mountains, as this is where our love first blossomed." Sara wore a vintage, sleeveless, lace wedding dress with a bohemian floral crown. Though, she changed into a glamorous sparkly gold dress at the reception! Daniel and his groomsmen wore casual brown vests and plaid ties. The bridesmaids wore short, pink, 1920s-style sundresses for an elegantly casual look. All of the limonium bouquets were handmade by the bride, who also created the boutonnieres out of dried roses and statice. Daniel contributed to the DIY decor by building a rustic wedding arch out of branches and wildflowers. In order to save money, Sara's father made all of the food, and instead of a DJ, Daniel's father performed his own original music (and Danny even performed a song he wrote for his bride!).
