A Rustic Blue Wedding at Rigmor House Wedding in Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Suzannah (a social worker) and Andrew (a writer) hosted an understated fall affair surrounded by friends and family in the bride's hometown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. "We were a bit worried that we wouldn't have a good turnout because it's somewhat out of the way, and our family and friends live all over the country," says Suzannah. "But most of them came, and we were so grateful to have everyone there!" After an outdoor ceremony under a simple wood arbor with white tulle bows, guests celebrated during a relaxed indoor celebration at The Rigmor Houses. With the hanging lanterns, the festive gourmet pizza menu and Mario cake topper, Suzannah and Andrew achieved a laid-back tone for their casual party. A blue and purple color palette was carried through from the bride's vintage-inspired purple rose bouquet and fabric bunting to the blue cupcake wrappers. The crafty bridal party created all of the decor, including the purple wildflower centerpieces, and one of the bridesmaids even made her short blue bridesmaid dress.
