A Rustic Beach Wedding at a Private Residence in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Kristina Napoli (28 and a teacher) and Grant Paugh (31 and a coal miner) chose a vintage, rustic, beach theme for their wedding, inspired by Kristina's mother's wedding dress, Grant's background as a West Virginia mountain man, and the fact that they met on the beach. A color theme of peach and purple with touches of ivory and tan rounded out their theme. Since Kristina was a little girl, she knew she wanted to wear her mother's lace wedding dress to her own wedding, and that's exactly what she did. "It's 33 years old and looks new," Kristina says. She accessorized her outfit with lace low heels and her great-grandmother's necklace and bracelet. The bridesmaids wore soft peach dresses with purple accent jewelry. The couple exchanged vows on the beach and performed a sand pouring ceremony. The reception was held in a private beach house on Myrtle Beach, where the couple had met eight years previous.
