A Rustic Barn Wedding with an Elegant Twist at a Private Residence in Circleville, Ohio
This couple wanted to make sure love for the outdoors reflected within their choice of venue, and once they found the rustic barn located on private property in Circleville, Ohio, no further searching was needed. “We visited, and it was literally love at first site,” Ashley West (26 and a wedding photographer) says of her marriage to Nick Cary (25 and a service sales representative.) “I walked in and saw immediately what I would do with everything, and it all came together better than I could have ever imagined.” The rustic elements on the farm were combined with elegance through a neutral color palette with a pop of gold, captured on camera by Studio127 Photography. Ashley fell in love with a white Nicole Miller wedding dress that had thick straps embellished in crystals, which she complemented with simple earrings to not take away from the sparkle and shine of the gown. She started the day with wearing Nine West flats with crystals, but ended the night in her Hunter Wellie boots to complement the rustic occasion! Since the venue had plenty of barns on the property to choose from, Ashley and Nick held their ceremony in front of a small white barn covered with ivy and the reception in the largest two-leveled structure. White flowers and succulents combined with a plentiful amount of greenery was seen in every corner—from the organic, overflowing bridal bouquet to the white organza arrangements lining the aisles and short centerpieces in wooden crates—all arranged by The Flowerman. We adored the couple’s choice of wedding favor, which was a passion tea blend packaged inside a “Let Love Brew” muslin stamped bag. “Stay true to who you are and make your wedding yours,” Ashley says. “Include personal touches and don’t be afraid to think outside the box and be you.”
