A Rustic Barn Wedding at Long Hollow Ranch in Bend, Oregon

The barn and homestead house dating over 100 years at Long Hollow Ranch in Bend, Oregon, had the natural setting that Jennifer Bradley (33 and a teacher) and August Chesser (29 and an engineer) envisioned for their casual, rustic wedding. The wedding took place close to the Fourth of July, so Jennifer and August included reds and blues in their palette—such as the polka-dot and paisley handbags that matched the short blue bridesmaid dresses. Jennifer and August got married under a lush tree on the property, and guests took white ceremony programs with heart-shaped designs that filled up a wooden crate. Since Bend is rich with several local breweries, Jennifer and August used recycled glass bottles as vases for red rose centerpieces that decorated rustic dining tables, and had Kellianne Jordan Photography capture everything on camera. Guests munched on popcorn in red-and-white-striped bags and sipped on bottled beverages outside before dinner, and at the end of the meal enjoyed a wide assortment of baked pies for dessert. We can't forget the four-tier Rice Krispies cake, wrapped with red ribbon at the bottom of each layer and topped with adorable Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse figurines. "Think about the most important parts of the day to you," Jennifer says. "For us, it was delicious food and a photographer who would capture every memory of our day, and the people we shared it with."
