Josie Collins (22 and a massage therapist) and Michael Miller (26 and special education assistant) met during a missionary training program called Adventures in Missions. The couple wanted to have a rustic, secluded barn wedding for their wedding and Gloryview farms was the perfect fit. Wanting their wedding to be casual and simple, they kept their decor minimum and chose blush, navy, gray and ivory for their color palette. Josie wore a DIY tulle ball gown accented with blush and gray stripes on the bodice for a pop of color that also matched the wedding colors. The reception dinner was catered by Josie’s brother and sister-in-law who made salmon patty burgers, brisket, sweet potato fries and corn on the cob. Josie’s cousin sang and played the guitar for entertainment. At the end of the night, they enjoyed a four-tier white ruffled buttercream cake topped with a vintage bride and groom made to look like themselves. They loved adding DIY details for a more personalized feel throughout the day.
