A Rustic Barn Wedding at Camp Railroads in Felton, California

Rebecca and Mitchell's wedding theme was rustic burlap and lace mixed with a little French country style, held in a barn near an old-school railyard. From the mismatched, pastel and floral bridesmaid dresses (worn with cowboy boots), to the wide array of DIY details (the bride's fabric flower and brooch bouquet, all of the signs and monograms and even the table runners), and the special first dance song that was written and performed by the bride herself, this wedding was definitely one-of-a-kind! There were even plenty of DIY details for all the kids in attendance, including giant lawn games like giant Jenga (which,  incidentally, was a theme throughout the wedding, with little Jenga blocks used as decor throughout), colorful crayon favors for kids to use at the reception and train whistles to blow after toasts. The wedding was held at Roaring Camp Railroad in Felton, California. "The main factor in choosing this venue was the fact that we could fit our 300 guests indoors," Rebecca says. "We weren't sure how many people on the invite list would come, but we wanted to make sure we could accommodate them all." Guests were served a casual barbeque meal complete with snacks for the kids, like Goldfish, pretzels and popcorn. As for any wedding nightmares, Rebecca is able to joke about them now. "Something that reflected us as a couple was that I was late to the wedding," she says. "They couldn't start without me, right?" Despite the bride's tardiness, everything else seemed to go off without a hitch.
