Dallas Pride (37 and a university administrator) and LeTeesha Thomas (38 and a hotel executive) were introduced through mutual friends, but only communicated through social media for several months after they met due to long distance. After finally agreeing to meet, LeTeesha canceled at the last minute. Fate, however, wasn't finished with their story for they rescheduled for drinks, dinner and dessert that lasted for six hours! Being a traditional southern Belle, LeTeesha knew she needed to ask Dallas' father's permission before proposing. So when LeTeesha told Dallas one afternoon on the beaches of Oak Bluffs that she had spoken to her father, Dallas was overcome with tears of joy. LeTeesha proposed with a Neil Lane diamond ring unique with the additional diamonds forming a weaving pattern around the center stone. When planning the wedding, both knew they wanted an outdoor element making the rooftop of the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton the perfect venue. With a theme inspired by their two homes, Georgia and Philadelphia, Beth from Something Borrowed, Something New created a vision of navy blue and vibrant orange. During the ceremony, the two officiants who are dear friends of Dallas and LeTeesha asked their friends and family to “Bless the Rings” and proceeded to pass them around. Each person touched the rings, kissed them or said a small prayer. With a bright and colorful menu of grilled flank steak with mashed potatoes and rainbow chard or seared Atlantic salmon with salsa and jasmine rice, guests could only make more room for the four-tiered wedding cake. The different layers included red velvet, vanilla mousse, lemon velvet and chocolate mousse wedding cake. "I surprised my wife for our first dance by having Tavonna Miller sing Lalah Hathaway’s “Forever, For Always, For Love”. LeTeesha was so surprised she could barely dance," says Dallas.

Joe Henry, husband of Beth from Something Borrowed, Something New, replaced the "O" from "LOVE" with a peach to honor Dallas' Georgia roots when designing the couples logo.
"We wanted bright, vibrant colors with lots of textures so Lyndsey added spider daisies, calla lilies, orchards, gerbera daisies and alstroemeria," says Dallas.

As Dallas walked down the aisle, she witnessed the second time her fiancé, LeTeesha, cry tears of joy.
"We were able to pause and make eye contact with each and every guest while they blessed our rings. I still get chills thinking about how loved and supported we felt in that moment," says Dallas.
Each person touched the wedding rings, kissed them or said a small prayer as they were passed throughout the rows of guests.
