A Romantic, Winter Wedding at the Inn at Hudson Gardens in Denver, Colorado
Jaime Gleason (28 and an associate financial representative) and Greg Bartholomew’s (27 and a landlord) wedding was all about winter romance, from the festive lights, to the intimate setting and elegant winter white, gold and black color palette. When looking for a place to host the evening affair, the couple was instantly drawn to the Inn at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, CO. “We fell in love with the Inn’s rustic look and it was large enough to accommodate the number of guests we were expecting,” says Jaime. Another selling point was the adjacent Hudson Gardens, which were decorated to the nines with twinkling lights for the holiday season. Before the ceremony and during cocktail hour, guests could roam the gardens and admire all of the lights. The Inn also gave the banquet room a touch of holiday flair, decorating the room with Christmas lights, wreaths and seasonal greenery to make the room feel warm and inviting. In the way of decor, the only thing Jaime and Greg had to add were a few centerpieces for the reception tables. They opted for fresh bunches of baby’s breath and roses with a touch of greenery arranged in gold bottles, adding clusters of candles to infuse each tabletop with an air of ambiance. A tip for the taking from Jaime: “I wish I had of taken the day of the wedding slower. Everything went by so fast, it was hard to remember what was actually about to happen. It really was one of the most special days of my life and I'm glad we have so many wonderful pictures to remember it by.”
