A Romantic, Whimsical Wedding at Ewingsdale Hall in Ewingsdale, New South Wales
Bride-to-be Chloe (25 and a wedding stylist) was caught completely off-guard Christmas morning when boyfriend, Matt, popped the question. "It's a family tradition to have a champagne breakfast, so the plan was for my engagement ring to be in my champagne glass at the table," Chloe explains. "We woke up super early that morning and Matt was so excited, that he just brought me champagne in bed at six -- just the two of us." For their outdoor wedding in Ewingsdale, the couple began searching for a secluded location that met the bride's one requirement. "I always wanted to be married under a big, beautiful tree," Chloe explains. "After months of searching we found the perfect tree (and venue!) at Ewingsdale Hall. It had a gorgeous, vintage-looking hall where we could dance the night away along with a beautiful macadamia forest in which we photographed our first look." While the groomsmen wore light gray suits and handmade bow ties, the bride pulled off a vintage look thanks to a whimsical floral crown and lace dress from the Made With Love Bridal Collection. A fig tree on the grounds was adorned with white paper lanterns and bird cages, while handmade signs and wicker furniture set the scene for the perfect summer garden wedding. As the sun set, guests were ushered into the light-filled reception space that was transformed by string lights, paper lanterns and lace-covered bar tables, all beautifully captured by Maz Photography. "My wedding was so personalized because we did everything ourselves," Chloe explains. "My dad is in the event industry, my mom is a wedding photographer and I have my own wedding styling business, Bliss and Willow, so all of our bases were covered!"
