Caroline and Hendrikus planned an elegant, formal wedding full of sweet, romantic details. The Bride: Caroline Wijono, 28, a student The Groom: Hendrikus Kwan, 29, a student The Date: May 23 Caroline and Hendrikus fell in love with the Gaillardia Country Club’s exquisite views, and once they chose it as their venue, the rest of the details fell into place. Bubblegum pink and rhinestones were the stars of the day, adorning everything from the cake and bridesmaid dresses to the favors and napkins.

Hendrikus’ playful groom’s cake was shaped like a Microsoft Xbox 360 video game console with his favorite Nintendo character, Mario, standing on top.
Caroline’s four bridesmaids wore blush-colored A-line dresses, while Hendrikus and his groomsmen looked dapper in rented tuxedos. Caroline loved her strapless fit-and-flare gown by Casablanca.
Carolina and Hendrikus were married under a gazebo swathed in sheer fabric overlooking a lake.
Pale pink and cream peonies, roses and spray roses with green rose buds made up Caroline’s bouquet.
Crystals and votive candles hanging from gold-painted branches planted in silver vases added some glam to the tables.
On the morning of the wedding, Caroline and Hendrikus held an elegant traditional tea ceremony for their families.
