Leslie, a doctor, 34, and Carlos, a massage therapist, 27, met when Carlos was Leslie's trainer at the gym. However, it took some persistence from Carlos before the pair began dating. "After 6 months, he broke me down with his charms," says Leslie. "He has been cooking for me and dancing with me ever since. I am one lucky girl!" The couple had a summer wedding in St. Petersburg, Florida with a "modern vintage" theme. It was complemented by ivory, Tiffany blue, gold and coral wedding colors. The color palette was inspired by a pair of earrings on Pinterest, says Leslie. They were married outdoors at The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort and Golf Club under a white arch draped in fabric and accented with cascading bouquets of coral, orange and ivory flowers. The couple and their 100 guests then moved inside the venue for the reception. Leslie and Carlos' wedding included personal touches such as a picture of her father on Leslie's bridal bouquet and a DIY marriage advice guest book. The couple also had their dinner menu and reception music reflect their Puerto Rican, Cuban and Colombian cultural backgrounds.
