A Romantic Wedding at Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine, California, Filled With Sweet Peas

Davina Kim (33 and an event stylist) and Elliot Lee (34 and a physician) planned their guest-centric celebration in just two weeks. Having worked in the industry for three years, Davina had a vision and a host of vendor friends, whom she called “friendors,” who could make her dream happen. Davina wore a custom-made Atelier by Dawn dress with reversible organza bell sleeves not only to save money, but to have two new looks. The smallest attendants’ blue dresses accentuated the venue’s earthy terra-cotta and apricot tones. The couple was very hands on with the planning, all the way down to creating the churchlike ceremonial wedding arch and designing the modern 3-D escort card wall just a week before the wedding. Guests indulged in a berry-flavored white chiffon cake decorated with sweet peas and pressed flowers before devouring key lime tarts displayed on a peach-colored custom dessert wall decorated with votive candles. To  make sure guests went home full, the couple surprised guests with late-night burgers and milkshakes from an In-N-Out truck.
