A Romantic Wedding at the Nocatee Crosswater Hall in Ponte Vedra, Florida

Haley Ramsay (23 and a software support manager) and Jeff McKinney (23 and an office manager) met at a high school party in 2007 and became engaged five years later. As they sat on a bench overlooking the bayfront, Jeff popped the question with a handwritten note. “It was intimate, personal and a moment I will never forget,” says Haley. The couple spent their next thirteen months planning a romantic wedding. “Choosing a wedding venue was relatively easy for us. We had a good idea of what we wanted and quickly decided on Crosswater Hall at Nocatee in Ponte Vedra,” says Haley. Her and Jeff decorated the space in shades of ivory, blush and silver. “We wanted our wedding to feel wintery and elegant, overflowing with little details,” she says. The couple accented their ceremony with white hydrangea and pink rose arrangements tied to white folding chairs. Tall arrangements also stood at the head of the aisle in similar hues. Haley and Jeff’s reception included the similar arrangements of roses and hydrangeas as well as a number of personal touches. “I absolutely love mercury glass and I spent the whole year of our engagement collecting all different vases and candle holders that lined the tables of the reception,”says Haley. Each family-style table was accented with a tall and low arrangements of white hydrangea, white roses and pink roses alongside silver framed table numbers and mercury glass. Haley, Jeff and their guests ended the night with festive sparklers and fireworks. “ It was truly a fairytale ending to a fairy tale day,” says Haley.
