A Romantic Wedding at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown, Ohio

Extravagant floral arrangements, draped fabric and pops of pink infused a local mainstay with romance for Brooke Kinast (27 and a pharmacist) and Kyle Hoff’s (28 and CEO and cofounder of a furniture company) long-awaited wedding day. Since the high school sweethearts met and grew up in Youngstown, a hometown venue was at the very top of their wedding wish list. “We love so many things about the city,” Brooke says of selecting the historic downtown locale. “It was important for us to share the beauty of Youngstown with friends and family from all over.” The bride paired a dramatic ball gown with her signature ponytail. “I loved being able to keep my hair, makeup and accessories minimal,” Brooke says of doing her own makeup. Together for nine years before saying “I do,” the couple swayed to “At Last” by Etta James for their first dance, which then transitioned into traditional Jewish and Greek wedding music. For dessert, guests indulged in banana cake filled with chocolate fudge and cream cheese frosting. A Pinterest-worthy sparkler exit paid homage to the coming Fourth of July holiday.
