A Romantic Wedding at Hotel Laguna in Laguna Beach, California

Lisa Rosenthal (29 and a social worker) met Moty Bouzaglou (31 and a computer technician) at her 21st birthday party. About one year later, Moty invited Lisa over for dinner, where they shared their first kiss. When Lisa moved away to graduate school in Northern California, Moty kept his promise of visiting every other weekend. On a vacation to Paris to visit Moty’s family, the couple visited the Palace of Versailles. Moty rented a row boat to take Lisa out into the middle of the lake where he got on one knee and proposed. The couple chose to have a classic, romantic wedding at Hotel Laguna in Laguna Beach, California. Lisa wore a full lace fit and flare wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline. Moty’s favorite color is red, and his only request for the wedding was that he was able to wear a red tie. He and Lisa were the only ones wearing red: Moty got his bow tie, and Lisa wore red patent leather heels matching flowers in her hair. Lisa’s love of the color purple inspired the main colors of the wedding party. “I wanted the overall wedding theme to feel romantic and intimate—a fun celebration with love,” says the bride. The romance continued into the reception with lots of flowers and candles decorating the venue, and tables topped with photos of the couple. The couple capped the evening with an intimate after party on the beach, where they could continue taking pictures and visiting with their family and friends.
