A Romantic Wedding at Gerry Ranch in Camarillo, California

Allie (28 and a boutique manager) and Adam (32 and a technical instructor) love hiking and wine, so they tied the knot with a wine unity ceremony on a ranch that boasts expansive views of the surrounding foothills and valleys. Gerry Ranch, nestled in the heart of the Santa Rosa Valley in Camarillo, California, feels like it was made for beautiful weddings. Plus, it's a working farm—lemons, avocados and blueberries all grow in this lovely landscape. Dressed up in white, blush and navy, Allie and Adam made their wedding day extraspecial by paying attention to the details. Think: a bed of soft rose petals in the aisle and simple, green blooms draped over their wooden wedding arch. "This venue was so peaceful, I felt like I was at home," Allie says. Her uncle was their officiant, and helped them to craft their wine unity ceremony. The newlyweds shared a blend of two wines from 2012—the year they met—to three things: the past, the present and the future. The reception, also at the ranch, was just as beautiful. White lantern and bistro string lights illuminated the dance floor, and ivory-colored tables were arranged carefully around it. The scent of fresh eucalyptus, emanating from the bridesmaid bouquets (which doubled as centerpieces), wafted into the evening air. The couple's sweetheart table was vintage, and the pair sat on a vintage couch instead of separate seats. One of Allie's friends baked her two-tier naked cake, but the sweetest part came later: Allie and Adam rolled out a vintage wagon piled with bite-size desserts, so guests could easily sample each. They offered treats like lemon blueberry bars, brownie chocolate chip cookies, raspberry lemon scones and carrot cake cupcakes. "We are honestly best friends and we know how to communicate with each other," Allie says. "We love to spend time together, just the two of us." —Alexa Wybraniec
