A Romantic Wedding at Ashton Gardens in Corinth, Texas

Carly Barnett and Chris Tsai met in high school and got engaged on their graduation day from the University of Texas. For their nuptials, the couple opted for the chapel at Ashton Gardens -- with its exposed wood beams and oversize windows showcasing the surrounding greenery -- in Corinth, Texas. After the two exchanged vows, guests meandered along a trellised path to the reception in one of the property’s ballrooms, where they enjoyed dinner, dancing and two elaborate cakes: Carly had a towering four-tier ivory wedding cake with rhinestone embellishments and a floral pattern, and Chris had a whimsical UT-inspired groom’s cake complete with a large burnt-orange longhorn and chocolate-covered strawberries. A color palette of blush and ivory with navy and lilac accents created a romantic wedding day for Carly and Chris.
