A Romantic, Turquoise Wedding at Embrun Community Center Hall in Ontario, Canada
On a Friday night, Corianne Campbell (28, a Financial Analyst) returned home to find a card with no return address on the table. Earlier that day, Miguel Belisle (38, an Associate District Manager) had called and told her that they received the card, but when she told him to open it, he said he'd rather wait until she got home so they could open the card together since he didn't know who it was from. "I opened the envelope and noticed it was a wedding invitation. As I read the wedding invitation, it took me a few reads to understand it was a wedding invitation to our own wedding. Miguel had made a fake wedding invitation with our names, date, location...I couldn't believe it. I turned to Miguel and he was on one knee in our kitchen, asking me to marry him," Corianne recalls. The couple decided to hold their wedding in their hometown of Embrun, Ontario, with a ceremony at Embrun Catholic Church and a reception at Embrun Community Center Hall. A color palette of turquoise (Corianne's favorite color), gray and white brought out the clean, romantic look of their wedding.
