A Romantic Southern Wedding at Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega, Georgia
Jenelle Rizkallah (26 and a paralegal) was pretty upset with David Woolsey (31 and a chiropractor) at his sister's rehearsal dinner when he kept telling everyone that he didn't see them get married anytime soon. In fact, Jenelle was so upset that she ended up going to their hotel room early—so she was in shock when David walked in and proposed later that night. "The funny part to our proposal story though is that afterwards, I was so worked up, already hadn't felt good and couldn't calm my nerves down that I ended up getting sick—but so did David," says Jenelle. "We got made fun of for so long because we both threw up immediately after getting engaged, who does that?" After over a year of planning, Jenelle and David swapped vows at Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega, Georgia. "We wanted something different, simple and beautiful," says Jenelle. "Most of our guests were traveling to us from Michigan and we wanted them to have the perfect southern experience!" Even though Juliette Chapel was still under construction when Jenelle and David first visited, they fell in love with it's charm. The couple decorated the indoor celebration with a clean gray, silver and white color palette. The simple decor included simple and soft low centerpieces with white flowers in wide glass vases and votive candles."I'm so plain Jane, so it's no surprise that I wanted our wedding to be classic and pretty," says Jenelle. We aren't extravagant people—we don't need to have a massive wedding with all the works because in the end, that's not what it was about."
