A Romantic Southern Wedding at Braided Oaks Farm in Quitman, Georgia
rn Georgia’s natural beauty is undeniable, and there’s no shortage of awe-inspiring views on Braided Oaks Farm in Quitman, Georgia. “There were oak trees that created a hallway with a canopy of limbs and moss hanging over. It was magical,” says Kayla Schroepfer (23 and a nurse), which is why she and Jack Schroepfer (26 and a lineman apprentice) decided to get married there. They paired the greenery and gray moss around the farm with a soft pastel palette of blue and blush, and hosted their heartfelt ceremony under the oaks. The florist, Willow and Wren, created a stunning wedding arch out of wood, topped with an overflowing arrangement of pink flowers and greenery. Later, Kayla and Jack filled their tented reception with sentimental personal touches, from a guest book box filled with small wooden hearts to cupcakes in memory and celebration of Jack’s father. Lindsi Jones Photography was on hand to capture the sweetness of their day, below.
